Ninja Hoops are our lightest weight. The lighter the hoop the more you have to move quickly and precisely. These are a preferred type for the more advanced hooper who has a facility with all the fundamentals of on-body and off-body hooping. We want you to pick up your hoop every day to enjoy your practice. We have found through 15 years of teaching and selling hoops that experienced hoopers really love this type of hoop.
This hoop can be a good compliment for the beginner adult that might enjoy both an Earth Hoop for learning ‘on body’ moves and a Ninja Hoop for learning ‘off body’ moves in the first 6 to 12 months of practice.
Weight: Weight is approximately 8 oz (220 kg).
Plastic-type 3/4″ O.D. Polypro: Outer diameter of the plastic tube is 3/4″. Wall is 1/16″. The plastic-type is polypropylene, a plastic that offers a perfect amount of rigidity and flex and just the right amount of weight for advanced hoop dance moves. This plastic is durable but is vulnerable to cracking especially with hard breaks and especially if it is cold. Not recommended for young children since it is more vulnerable to cracking.
